Historical Sites - McFarland Ranch

 The McFarland Ranch near Galt is considered a "Living History" ranch, with a goal of providing people with a glimpse of pioneer life in our area. The ranch was once owned by early settler John McFarland, who farmed 1800 acres of land here in the mid-1850s. His family has helped to keep this gem of Sacramento County´s history open for all to see.
